I think you should a Cbox or the Proboards Live Chat. That way people can talk amongst themselves waiting for posts.

Wow, it is... I would have set rules for the site by now. Oh well, thank you for considering it.

sorry for butting in but I had an idea. You know how most sites have an information box either on the side or uptop? You can place important facts in the box and have the cbox in there as well. That way its not cluttering the forums and people will also see all the MUST KNOW information as well. Plus its a nice place to put affiliates. A lot of sites have the affiliates table at the bottom. And if you want people to join you need to have a wow factor. Which means clean and sleek design to the entire board.
Take a look at my site. You can see I have my affiliates table in the information box along with blot info, the cbox and the vital information off to the side of the races and staff members plust the affiliation banner and code.
One of my friends is a master at coding cboxes. If I asked, she could probably get a nice cbox and make it so its private so only members can use it and we wont' ahve to worry about lag or anything!
Thats just my two cents. Hope thats alright. |
