Samurai Champloo was a short live series of about 26 episodes. I've thought it would have lasted longer but it didn't. There was Jin, Fuu, and the other samurai who I can't remember right now.

Came on at like 11:30 PM on Adult Swim
Posting right now makes me want to search Adultswim.com for some episodes.

When I went to Otakon Last year, one of my friend's went as Jin^^ I kept calling her an angry librarian the entire time since thats what Jin reminds me of! She made the entire outfit herself. But my mom helped her style the wig. I went as Okami Amaterasu. She got revenge on me by calling me Furball the entire time. |

Really surprise you didn't go as Alucard. I decided to do some research and I discovered there names: Jim Mugen, and Fuu.

Well for one, I'm too short to be Alucard. Alucard is over 6 ft in height and I'm only 5ft 7in. Two, I'm a girl in real life. And he's male, not that that is a problem. Three, getting a suit like his would have been expensive, and making it would have been a pain. Four, his jacket and hat would have been murder to try and find on ebay and there was no whay I could make that myself! And five, Okami was pulled out and made like two weeks before otakon do to the fact I had no clue if I would have even been able to go! -dies-
One of these years I'll go as Alucard. This year I'm going as Liger Zero^^
I don't remember the names or characters I've only seena few times unless they left a big impression.
By the way..did they make this into a manga by any chance? |

I only saw the last five episodes of this anime..what exactly is it about? Some people I talked to before described it as rurouni Kenshin on major steriods or something akin to that. |

Thanks MeressXIII, I meant Jin, I didn't realized I spelled it wrong. As for Alucard, it sounds like you were mis-informed.
The series is about the journey of a girl named Fuu and her two bodyguards, Mugen and Jin, (who are rivals, as they travel across Japan in search of a particular samurai who smells of sunflowers.
