In the distant future, humanity had thought the wolves had disappeared forever some 200 years back. But instead, the wolves adapted, remade themselves, and survived...by taking on human form.
How cool was this series. It's too bad I never actually finished watching this anime.

I am a tad bit upset that they removed this anime from tv. One of my favorites. Although, I can go buy the whole season for $100 at Best Buy or something. It is also too bad that they only had two manga made, even though the story goes on longer.

Well it was another short live anime with only about 26 episodes which I only seen half. Then there are the four OVA episodes and as you said the two volumes of manga. I'm guessing you, Hanako followed this much better than I did.

This is one of my favorites of all times, In fact just scored me the artbox and like half the series on the cheap last night on Ebay.
It was one of those that to be honest, I didnt think much of it when I saw it. It was strange because it was like its depth took me a few weeks to fully grasp and when it sunk in, I wasnt the same anymore. It's an epic tragedy that will in some ways haunt you for years. I was warned of its ending and watched anyways. My girlfriend hates Berserk and its for alot of the same reasons I loved Wolf's Rain. If you have yet seen the whole thing, I highly recomend you finish it, but start from the begining. Its worth your money and time if you can take the pain of loss.

Yeah it really didn't sink in the first time I watched the show either. As a matter of fact it usually takes two times for me to like a anime series or to fully understand it.

I normally only get a chance to watch most things once but on rare occasions I might get to enjoy an Anime more than once. I actually saw it only once but i would find myself thinking about it and being like... wow, that really was good. Some people hate it, but I think its a potential sleeper hit for those willing to accept the terms of viewing. Even my review of it was kind of weak considering how much I ended up enjoying it.

Yeah its not one of my favorites but its watchable. I always willing to give a show a second chance. Since I usually never watch the series completely the first time around. The second time around I'll try to watch it from beginning to end.
