Long ago, the story of the Four Gods of Heaven and Earth was passed down through the generations in China. The story was thought to be extinct until one man traveled to China to unravel the mystery and translate the book into his native tongue of Japanese. And the quest was a success. But he returned home after many years to find his wife dead and his daughter mad in grief, and she tore the book from her hands and disappeared with a flash of blinding light. And so the story began.
The legends claimed that a girl from another world would throw open the door between her world and the world of the gods and save one of the four countries of the land by gathering seven constellations and summoning the guardian god, who would grant her three wishes. Each girl came to the world in time, and she saved the country before returning to her own world. All was thought to be well after the final battle inside the book and the book gone forever, until the city of Tokyo suddenly blazed with a white light and all traces of the book and those who had been inside it disappeared.
As the years passed they became forgotten and lost until all four priestesses and their celestial warriors slowly begun to reappear with different bodies but the same souls. Their reincarnations now walk the earth unaware of their destinies and unaware of the danger of the white light... until now.
