It has been 5 years since Naruto came back from his two and a half year training with Jiraya-sama. The Akatsuki have already moved in to get Naruto, but ended up failing due to Tsunade showing up, and assisting him. Most of the remaining Akatsuki members were taken out. Naruto was able to escape on Tsunade's orders. She never came back to the village, and told Sakura that she wishes Naruto to take her place, if she should die. Naruto blames himself for this unfortunate incident.
So, Naruto finally became Hokage, the position he rightfully deserves, and his life-long ambition fulfilled. Gaara continues to be Naruto's additional drive by still being the Kazekage. Gaara has regained most of his sand-jutsus without the Shukaku. Families are starting, and the fear of the Akatsuki is slowly dying away. But not forgotten, the Akatsuki have been inactive for a while now, trying to regain their ranks, and begin collecting the last of the bijuu once more.
The rest of the rookies have all become Jounin, with the exception of those few who have taken a different path; such as Sakura, and Sasuke. The village is running smoothly, and all of the shinobi world are resting peacefully from their long struggle against the deadly Akatsuki. But now you have little time to decide your future. Will you join Akatsuki, and help them rise once again, or will you take part in the peaceful world of Shinobi, and begin to forget all about the Akatsuki, start a new life, and a family? Better decide soon, because Neutral isn't a choice. This is Peaceful Dawn of Shinobi.
