The fifth installment of this series is set to launch this month on July 29th. Unlike the previous game, Soul Calibur III, this game will be released on both the PlayStation 3 and X-Box systems. So far there has been an estimate of 33 characters appearing in this version, including an unexpected twist. This include characters from the original version and a few new ones as well. This version is also rumor to include characters from the Star Wars: Force Unleashed game being released later this year. However if your like me you do not have a PlayStation or X-Box. I wish they would released this game on the Wii, the last game to Soul game to be released on a Nintendo console was Soul Calibur II.

I also wish they would release it on Nintendo systems
SC2 For Gamecube was really great, and sold the most games of the three systems
Everyone is asking the same question: "Why is this not on Wii?"

I don't know but they would make so much more money if they included the game on all the systems, especially if it not going to be exclusive to one system anymore. I guess this is an issue you would have to ask the creators and the corporations about.

This game kinda bugs me. I think its because its got Star Wars people in it. And the fact its for ps3 which I don't have...but it looks really cool. Can you still create your own character in it like in 3? |

Yes the Character Creation mode will be making a return. There will also be a new mode called Active Matching Battle, which will allow you to fight multiple opponents at the same time. I know how you feel about the Star Wars piece. I don't understand how these characters will fit into the storyline in Story Mode. I can understand if it was just the Arcade mode but I don't think they fit in too well with the vibe of this game.

I saw a commercial yesterday, and the game looks really awsome
I think they only put it on PS3 and Xbox because of graphics only

Yeah I'm sure it is the awesome game, the other games were great. I just wish they would place this game on the other systems instead of just releasing the Soul Legends game which I heard wasn't too good.

I heard a rumor that said this game was suppose to come out on the Wii sometime soon. But I doubt it. Soul Legends was alright..I played it over my cousin's house for an hour. I think it all depends on your preference of games. Its one of those things where if you played the other Soul Calibur games before this..you'll say it sucks. But if you play Soul Legends first and know nothing of the other games you would probably like it. |
